Child Safety Standards

WA has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This page is our published Child Safety Standards in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy.
1. Core Policy
- WA is intended for users aged 13 and older
- Any content or behavior that may harm minors (under 18) is strictly prohibited
- Violating accounts will be suspended or deleted without prior notice
- Serious violations are reported to relevant authorities
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on WA:
- Creating, storing, sharing, or distributing content that sexually exploits or abuses minors
- Sexual solicitation or grooming of minors
- Creating profiles that impersonate minors
- Statements or actions that condone or encourage child sexual abuse
- Misuse of minors' personal information
3. Structural Safeguards Built Into the App
WA is designed to minimize risk of harm to minors.
- Closed invite-only groups: An "engawa" can only be joined by people who receive the invite code directly. Unsolicited contact from strangers is structurally impossible.
- No messaging or chat features: There are no free-form direct messages or chat. Only mood (3 options) and short statuses (max 20 characters) are shared.
- Member removal: Any member can be removed from an engawa at any time.
- Account deletion: Users can fully delete their account and all associated data from within the app.
- No advertising or tracking: No behavioral tracking or third-party advertising SDKs are included.
4. Reporting
If you discover CSAE-related content or behavior, please report it via the contact below. Reports are reviewed promptly, and we will remove content, suspend accounts, and report to authorities as appropriate.

Reports are treated confidentially. We do not retaliate against reporters.
5. Compliance with Applicable Laws
WA operates in compliance with the following laws and international frameworks:
- Japan: Act on Punishment of Activities Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography
- United States: 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (mandatory CSAE reporting to NCMEC)
- Europe: GDPR, relevant provisions of the Digital Services Act
- International: NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) reporting standards
